Mitchell Dyer

Haematology Clinic Pharmacist,
Peter MaCallum Cancer Centre

Mitchell Dyer is a Haematology Clinic Pharmacist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. I have worked as an oncology pharmacist since 2016, working through areas such as medical oncology and haematology inpatient wards, palliative care, chemotherapy day units and a variety of outpatient pharmacy clinics. My haematology outpatient clinic works closely with the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre Myeloma and Lymphoma teams, to support patients through their treatment journey.

Along-side my role in haematology outpatient clinics, I am responsible for the development of a new pharmacist role working in cancer imaging. I am currently completing my final year of study in the Master of Clinical Pharmacy course at Monash University. As part of this course, I developed and implemented a research project focussed on pharmacist deprescribing in the palliative care setting.
