COSA & the CPG

The Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) is the peak national body representing health professionals from all disciplines whose work involves the care of cancer patients. COSA members are doctors, nurses, scientists and all allied health professionals involved in the clinical care of cancer patients.
The Cancer Pharmacists Group (CPG) is a group of COSA comprised of pharmacists practising in a variety of settings including medical oncology, haematology, palliative care and cytotoxic preparation services. The CPG provides the only national multidisciplinary forum for pharmacists working in cancer services.
COSA membership includes membership of the CPG for pharmacists.
The CPG is committed to promoting and developing the role of the pharmacist in cancer services. Members have a common interest in ensuring the provision of optimal pharmaceutical care and drug therapy for cancer patients. Our goal is to facilitate training, education and research within both pharmacy and cancer services, while ensuring that pharmacists have input into key national policy documents and clinical guidelines.
