Joanne Kanakis

Joanne is a registered nurse with too many years' experiences to mention. She has been been working in the field of Oncology since the 90's with experience in haematology in particular bone marrow transplant, support services in the NGO arena which included representation in state government as well as various management role within cancer day unit, apheresis and outpatient services. Joanne recently was involved as the clinical lead in the Queensland Cancer Center project whose vison is to will support the best cancer care journey for Queenslanders diagnosed with cancer by facilitating collaboration and unifying clinical governance and delivering a patient centric model enabled by clinical care, research, education, and training.​

Joanne believes that with multi-disciplinary collaboration we will be able to achieve Integrated, coordinated, data-driven, high-quality health service systems that consistently deliver optimal cancer care and excellence in outcomes.
