Dr Jeremy Er
Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist,
Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre & Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Dr Jeremy Er is a dual trained clinical and laboratory haematologist based at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he works primarily in the myeloma service. He graduated from the University of Queensland and completed haematology training at University Hospital Geelong, Royal Melbourne Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre where he is also undertook a myeloma fellowship. He has been involved as an investigator in various clinical trials including bispecific antibody and CAR-T cell myeloma trials.
His clinical and research interests include high risk myeloma and the application of novel immunotherapies. He was awarded a PhD scholarship by the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Walking Up the Hill Foundation and is currently a PhD candidate at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research. His research aims to investigate the role of bone marrow microenvironment and immunotherapy resistance in multiple myeloma.
