Associate Professor Bryan Chan

Associate Professor Bryan Chan, BPharm (Hons I), MBBS (Hons I, Uni Medal), FRACP, MMed (Clin Epi), graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy with first class honours from the University of Queensland and practiced as a Pharmacist before going on to graduate from Medicine and Surgery with first class honours and the University Medal (UQ). Following Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, he completed a clinical research fellowship at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada, where he was also the Chief Oncology Fellow. Bryan completed his Master of Medicine in Clinical Epidemiology with the University of Sydney.

Bryan is a senior medical oncologist at The Adem Crosby Cancer Centre, Sunshine Coast University Hospital as well as at the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital. He is an Associate Professor at Griffith University and Adjunct Associate Professor with the University of the Sunshine Coast and the University of Queensland. His clinical interests are in managing thoracic malignancies with research interests in health service and quality.
